Diary (January 2009)

No summary has been written for this month, yet. Probably I've forgotten to, or this is the current month so I cannot summarise what hasn't happened yet.

Reality Check.

Quick reality check ...
I'm not in need of any crayons, Clintons aren't closing their shop in Norwich Castle Mall so that they can move two doors down overnight.
The Castle Mall isn't being used by a secret organisation as their base for the excalibur weapon system - a radar based defense system on the moon.
The Mall isn't infested with zombies and other undead who come out after the shoppers have left and attack said secret base. I'm not secretly a general in this base, hypnotised to forget what I do after I go home in the mornings.
Using brown pouffys as a defense agaist the hoardes of zombies isn't a solution (apparently they've not been paid for yet)
and you can't fill your lighter from a petrol pump...
The solid fact I have now is that I'm late for work.

Stargate Atlantis 'Vegas'.
Aching.

Ok, we have a winner for worst Atlantis episode ever. I'm 10 minutes in and I'm not sure why I'm bothering. 'Vegas' is some alternate reality thing, which I like. It's filming style is the worst style of thing that I can't stand and I just don't have a whole lot of reason to care - there's just no relationship to the rest of the series. It's almost as if they wanted to do a special of CSI or something like that - I don't watch CSI, but the little bits that I've seen are sort-of the same filming style and... I don't care. <sigh> What a waste of time to look forward to. I guess I'm only sticking with it 'cos I want to know if there is any connection to the 'real world'.

I'm aching a lot today. My right shoulder hurts when I do certain things. My back's been a little sore for a while, and my left ankle's still playing up at times. I think it's all just part of this cold. Well, except the ankle, which has probably just got worse 'cos of the cold. <sigh>
