I'm really quite tired at the moment. I'd like to sleep more but then I end up staying up late to chat to people who aren't around. Like tonight, everyone's gone and it's just gone midnight - so I'll be off to sleep now. I shouldn't really hang around on the off chance that there will be people to talk to.

I'm back from visiting Matthew and family - they're lovely and they made me so welcome and were so friendly. It's been great fun spending the weekend with them, not rushing around and just enjoying chatting about things and playing with little William. Matt's still trying to convince me to apply to Google which is daunting as they're far cleverer than I, but... it is tempting... and to be honest, I don't have much to lose to try.

David Chess' little girl is now 19. That's so strange; I don't know her, but he talks about her as a proud dad does, and I did on one occasion pass on a message to her, about 10 years ago. I just think it's so amazing that that time has passed .

I'm really excited today 'cos I'm going to visit The Moog and his wife and little boy. I guess that's partly down to the fact that I've not seen him in ages and he's one of the cleverer people I know, and because it's seeing people, and because it's good to see anyone outside of my gruop of friends, and because I've not seen him in... too many years to count (10? 11?), and of course because he's one of the most manic talkers I've ever come across. So, so, so much more energy than I and not just random crap but interesting and real things, and I'm going to find it hard to keep up, I'm sure. But it'll be great to see how he's getting on at Google and how being a dad's going .

I could really do with sleeping better. I couldn't sleep until about 5 last night and woke up late and tired all day. On the plus side I did have a very cool dream about trying to sneak into a secure building and steal some important encrypted files which would help set someone free. I don't remember a whole lot about it except that it was difficult to get past the security and involved getting changed in a toilet, and a false moustache.

I want this pillow. It's so cool .

I went to Lizz and John's Ruby wedding anniversary this weekend. I spent most of the time playing with Giana, William and Jessica and loved it all. They were all really, really good, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. However, I ache so much now from all those piggy backs and games! I may have got a little sun, too. My arm's a smidge warm.

I keep meaning to write some more general stuff about recent stuff. But stuff gets in the way and I tend to not have the energy by the time I get to bed.

Quick summary... Work's still unstable as we don't know whether we'll be sold with the business, etc. There's something wrong with the way we view monopolies, or unfair business practices. Chloe Smith's an MP for Pete's Sake. Although the wikipedia page gives the impression that she had all her schooling in Swaffham, and not just her Sixth Form.

Ways to waste an hour ? Things you didn't know you knew but could recognise instantly if you heard them ? Many of them are on the 'Kick Ass Classical' site. A little website that has small sections of classical music that you'll probably know. I just kept going "I know that" and "That's what that is!" interchangeably.
