  • Christmas.

Well, that's Christmas Day already over, and I've done... well, not much. I got a new cordless phone and managed, yet again, to upset Mum. I think the phone's great, but one of the reasons that mum bought it was that it has a hands free set so that I can use it without having to hold it. When she mentioned it I just said that I probably wouldn't use it because I found them very annoying. The reason I find them annoying is very simple - I dislike people who don't talk close to the microphone or who I can't hear. I've even told some people that I just can't hear them and hung up if they insist on not being audible. I really think it's rude. In a similar way that I find it very rude to talk on a phone when you're in a group of people (in particular where those people are talking, or watching telly or something similar). <sigh> I know I'm irritable, but these things annoy me.

Anyhow, she was upset, because it's the main reason they got the phone. Which is sad, really. I don't usually say things about what I think of things, because I know it'll only upset people, and I wish I'd just said that I thought it was great. <sigh>

White Lillies Island arrived again today. Without the copy protection, so it'll actually play on my CD players.
