Off school for weekend. Had wonderful time at cubs. Not so bad at home either.
I was 11, penultimate year of primary school and these entries appear to be around the last days of school and the first days of the summer holidays.

Julian's Birthday. Got loads of presents. Took a very long time on computer.
Julian helped Mum make 'Flake 7'. Had a wonderful time with Transformers
(that's what Julian got). At night stayed up till 10:00. Read 1/2 chapter of
the Dawn Treader. Bed at 9 o'clock.
[Not quite sure how that works - Justin, aged 26]
Birthday party. He got another Transformer. Played outside most of the time.
Didn't have such a good time. Dad always telling me off. Julian got these presents :
Maths at school, most of the time. Painting the fence at home. Got it in
my heir [Sorry, I've left that spelling mistake in - Justin, aged 26]. Had a
game of badminton (passing the shuttlecock to each other; highest hits we
got was 10) till seven thirty. After school we (that is me, Julian, Tim, Simon, Gary - Simon only played a little) played a game of football (me,
birthdayboy, Simon and Gary versus Tim in goal).
Maths at school most of the time. Tim came round after school. Super time
Grove, swimming. Tata-ash for tea. Bed at nine. Mum got an exercise bike.
Had a super time.
Super time at school (for once). Lunch was good too, after lunch we had a
video - "Robin Hood (1973)Animation, Adventure, Family, RomanceRetelling of the Robin Hood legend with animals for the characters. Robin Hood is an outlaw who starts to form a gang in Sherwood Forest to fight the injustices of the Sheriff of Nottingham, who levies unpayable taxes upon the people.Robin Hood (1973)"
, the Walt Disney Version (we have video on wet play times
but I can't go into that now, now where was I, ah...) After playtime, or
video time which ever you prefer - now back to the subject, after video time
(let's not go into that again) we had the end of the BFG (Big Friendly
Giant) which took up one hour. Then we wrote a book review on the BFG which
took up the reset of the afternoon. After school we went to Lincoln, that
took till Five Thirty. I set the bar up. At six o'clock Julian went to
Beavers. I watched the television till seven when Julian came home. Then we
had tea. After tea we watched Television till bed time.
Whit-walks today. Walked all the way. Didn't go to band. Not much happened
today either.
Went to church. Played outside till three thirty. Watched
Super-ted at 4 o'clock. Not much happened today.
